Canon ‘For creators in all worlds’ Terms and Conditions
1. PROMOTER AND PARTICIPANTS
1.1. The Promoter is Canon Oy which is part of Canon Nordic group (“Canon Nordic”).
1.2.Only people at minimum age of 18 resident (from 23rd of November 2022) in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania can participate. Employees of Canon Group, their families, agents, and other parties directly involved with this competition and the sponsorship are not eligible to enter.
1.3. By entering this competition, all participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions unless notified otherwise in writing.
2. THE COMPETITION
2.1.Promotion Period: Enter between 00:01 CET on November 23rd, 2022, and 23:59 on December 14th, 2022 inclusive.
2.2.Visit https://www.canon.fi/get-involved/for-creators-in-all-worlds/ to complete the online form to provide your details (name, in-game photographer name, email address, tel nr, country of residence, where the screenshot is taken) & complete the survey. Then upload an in-game screenshot meeting the criteria listed below in Clause 3 to be entered into the competition.
2.3. In-game screenshots do not have to be taken on a Canon device.
2.4. Internet access, access to Eastshade from Eastshade Studios and a valid email address are required to enter.
2.5. Incomplete, invalid, or inappropriate entries, or entries received after the closing date on December 14th 2022 at CET 23:59 will not be eligible for publication or any prize.
2.6. By submitting an entry, each Participant hereby grants to Canon Nordic a nonrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free and free of charge, sublicensable licence to publish, republish, display and use their in-game screenshot for all purposes connected with this competition, including but not limited to display on Canon Nordic websites, Canon Nordic social media accounts and/or channels, any other websites of Canon Nordic or its agents/contractors, and in marketing materials (including at exhibitions) relating to this competition for up to one year after the competition ends. Each Participant also grants Canon Nordic and its agents/contractors the right to moderate, modify or remove any in-game screenshot if it is deemed unsuitable, in whole or in part, for display on the competition website or in any materials relating to the competition. Participants of the competition also hereby agree to being identified and/or attributed as the creator of the in-game screenshot subject to their entry.
3. IN-GAME SCREENSHOT CRITERIA
3.1. The in-game screenshot submitted must reflect the following criteria:
In-game screenshot from a scenery from the game Eastshade from Eastshade Studios.
3.2. Participants must not upload an in-game screenshot which have previously won an award or prize via a promotion run by the Promoter or any other entity.
3.3 The in-game screenshot submitted must not be heavily edited or manipulated, examples include: no adding or removing objects from the in-game screenshot, no compositing in-game screenshots. Please note, this list of examples is not an exhaustive list.
4. COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS
4.1. The in-game screenshot must be original and taken by the Participant.
4.2. You also agree to be contacted by Canon Nordic for the purposes of administrating the competition or in the event that Canon Nordic wishes to discuss any other use of the in-game screenshot submitted to the competition.
5. WARRANTIES
By submitting its entry, the Participant warrants that:

5.2. It shall act within the scope of the rights granted under and/or in accordance with these terms and conditions.
6. THE PRIZE
6.1 The overall winner will win an EOS R10 with RF-S 18-45mm and RF 16mm 2.8., DR-E18 ACC adapter, HG-100 Tripod, DM-100 Microphone and two tickets to Dreamhack Summer 2023 in Jönköping, Sweden.

6.2. Canon Nordic will announce the winner via a live stream event on Twitch on December 16th at 7PM (CET). Canon Nordic will contact the winner via the email address provided on entry within 5 working days of the winner selection and the winner will be required to respond to confirm eligibility and acceptance of the Prize, within 14 calendar days of initial contact. If the winner does not respond to the initial contact within 14 calendar days Canon Nordic reserves the right to disqualify the winner. If the winner is disqualified Canon Nordic reserves the right to award the prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond.
6.3. Canon Nordic reserves the right to publish the name of the winner or to publicise any prize giving presentation after the date of the competition.
6.4. The Prize is non-transferable, and no cash or credit alternatives will be substituted for the prize on offer. In the event that the prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, Canon Nordic reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
6.5. The Prize will be posted to the winner within 30 calendar days after the winner is announced. In the unlikely event that a Prize doesn’t arrive within 30 calendar days after the winner is announced, the winner will have a further 28 calendar days to inform Canon Nordic by emailing canonnordic@canon.no. If the winner does not inform Canon Nordic within this time frame, Canon Nordic will reserve the right to not reissue the prize or limit its value at their sole discretion.
6.6. Any rejected or unclaimed prize may be awarded to other entrants at the absolute and sole discretion of Canon Nordic.
6.7. In the event that the competition is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Canon Nordic which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, Canon Nordic reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions and to cancel, modify or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries.
6.8. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Canon Nordic does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the entry page.
6.9. The winner pays any taxes related to the prize.
6.10. Canon Nordic will never reach out to entrants on a non canon email address

7. WINNER SELECTION
7.1 All valid entries received during the Promotion Period (subject to moderation) will be independently judged by a panel of judges. There will be one (1) round of judging to shortlist ten (10) finalists based on the in-game screenshot criteria as detailed in Clause 3. From the ten (10) finalists, the judging panel will select one (1) winner.
7.2 The winner will be selected on the 15th of December 2022 and announced on Twitch on the 16 th of December.
8. PERSONAL DATA
8.1. Canon Europa N.V., 59 Bovenkerkerweg, 1185 XB, The Netherlands, is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants. The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the country of the data subject’ domiciles. 8.2. Any and all personal data supplied for the running of this competition will be used solely for the purpose of this competition and, if applicable, for marketing purposes by the Canon Nordic and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the competition on behalf of the Promoter and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose unless your positive consent has been obtained.
9. DISCLAIMER
9.1. Canon Nordic reserves the right to refuse to honour any entry or to recover the full value of any prize if it considers there has been an abuse or breach of the terms and conditions of this competition.
9.2. Canon Nordic together with any associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Canon Nordic’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
9.3. In the event of a dispute over interpretation or implementation of the rules on any matter related to the competition, the decision of the Directors of Canon Nordic is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.4. If any part of these conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9.5. Entries must be made directly by the individual entering the competition. Bulk entries from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means together with entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms & Conditions in full will be disqualified and will be not be counted. If it becomes apparent that a Participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that Participant’s entries into the competition in a way that is not consistent with the rules of the competition, that Participant ’s entries will be disqualified and any prize awarded will be void. Participant are not permitted to enter using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
9.6. In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the details in any promotional material, the details in the Terms & Conditions will prevail.
10. JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with mandatory consumer laws and possibly other applicable laws and in a court of your country of residence in your local language. If you have any questions, your local consumer adviser can advise you about your rights. These terms and conditions do not affect participant’s statutory rights as a consumer.

12. META, TWITCH, YOUTUBE
The competition is not sponsored, recommended, or managed by META, Twitch, YouTube. Each participant is solely responsible for his/her posting on social media and the reference to Canon Nordic’s ‘For creators in all worlds’ competition does not release the participant from such responsibility and nor Canon Nordic, Meta, YouTube, Twitch assumes responsibility of postings made by the participant under the competition.
