If you have granted friends and family access to your favourite CANON iMAGE GATEWAY album, they can now download the album as a screensaver (Windows only) on their computers, and just in case they aren’t members of CANON iMAGE GATEWAY, downloading can
be performed in two different ways.
When friends receive their email from CANON iMAGE GATEWAY notifying them that they have been granted access to one of your albums, the email contains a screensaver button. When clicked, an execution file is downloaded to their computer that, when run,
will install the images as screensavers. This method is perfect for those who may not be personally registered to the CANON iMAGE GATEWAY.
For those who are members of the service, the email method can be used to download images, or they can create screensavers when they are logged into their CANON iMAGE GATEWAY account. Once logged on, they simply click on ‘Share Images’ then ‘Album
access received’ and the screensaver button appears alongside the album.
One of the nicest things about CANON iMAGE GATEWAY screensaver functionality, is that it regularly checks back on the album and updates itself with any new images that have been added.
Creating personalised screensavers from CANON iMAGE GATEWAY is a simple click away.
